Use Festool drill bits in your DeWalt compact router
This high quality 8mm collet fits into DeWalt Compact Routers (models DWP611, DWP611PK, DCW600B) and enables use of Festool’s 5mm brad-point dowel drilling bits (Festool 491066 for standard stopped shelf pin holes, and Festool 491064 for through-holes), along with any other 8mm shank router bits. This collet is made from U.S. alloy steel on precision equipment and is qualified to meet high quality standards, with extremely low runout.
With this 8mm collet and our Adapter Kit, you can use your DeWalt compact router (model DCW600 or DCW611 with DNP612 plunge base) with Festool’s LR 32 Hole Drilling System—one of the best ways to efficiently build cabinets using the standardized European frameless 32mm system.
